I've been too busy trying to clear the hurdles and actually get hold of the piece of land I'm buying. It's taken most of my time since the GTG and a lot of work.

Into what? I've heard that granite is rather difficult to bore into.

Congrats! Anything on the land? Going to build a house or anything?

Nothing on it yet. I'm gonna build me the greenest house I can possibly build.

Starting with a mortarless, poured-in-place adobe brick method (18" thick walls). Gonna use high-fly-ash concrete for the foundation. Haven't decided about the roof yet. It might be a "green roof", greened with reused greywater. Or just metal (to harvest rainwater) covered with a buttload of solar panels. Whatever roof I use, there will be a buttload of solar panels somewhere. Off-the-grid, too. Water from a shared well.
